VEDA GYAN - 12.A

WEAPONS OF VEDIC TIMES – VAJRAAYUTA

Vajraayuta is a diving weapon used by the king of Gods, Indra.  This was shaped in the form of an twining arrow with like the crescent of the moon turned upwards at the top.  This weapon contains the highest form of heat and high voltage electricity, which could wipe out the enemy.

There is no weapon made to this date that can be compared to this.  Laser is a form of Vajraayuta but not fully developed as a weapon of mass destruction.

Vajraayuta could be very specific.  It could target an area, or group of people or a single individual.  There are many instances in the Puranas, where Indra had to use this weapon in simple or intense form to destroy the deamons.

The person who uses this Vajraayuta has absolute control on this weapon.  Like the other weapons of Vedic time, the sender can use the intensity in any form, make it just light or intense.  The weapon produces very high voltage of electricity that could be compared only to the lightening, which can reduce any matter into nothing in the fraction of a second.

These flexibility to use and hit a target precisely or to save the target after having sent the weapon against the target, made the weapons of Vedic times more superior compared to the weapons made till date.
